Stars without Number:
Galactic Sector 631
Any game I am running takes place in this sector of space and may expand in to the nearby sectors as well. That said, I am starting the process of creating the sector. The sector contains 29 star systems, some are easily accessible by often traveled Spike Drills, others are all but forgotten.
Circles represent planets and the color represents the climate. Green for Temperate, Blue-White for Froze, Blue for Cold, Orange for Warm, Red for burning. If the circle has a ring that planet has TL 5.
Red stars are central gas giants. This fuel is gathered in 2/3 the typical time to scoop a load of fuel and provide a -1 speed while the fuel is being used.
White stars are a central dwarf star or more dense star. They take 1/3rd more time to scoop a load of fuel. Also the Fuel acquired grants the ship a +1 speed while the fuel is being used (until the end of the next Spike Drill.)
Orange stars are newly formed stars in the stellar nursery nebula that have enough gravity to allow a spike drill to use it as an exit point.
Purple hexes contain nebula and are causing metadimensional storms making drills outright deadly, travel through these hexes lines all pilots take a +2 to their pilot difficulty. Any failed pilot roll results in this area are required to roll on the Spike Drill Mishap table on page 111 (PDF page 115.)
The lines with hashes show the border of some kind of political affiliation. In most cases this is an merely trade agreements between systems. However, The dark cyan line and the purple line represent a multi-stellar nation. The light blue line represents a mutual defense agreement between the included sovereign stars. All stars, may they be yellow, red, or white, are known rutters inside the nation where they occur. Some border planets have the rutters for a neighboring star in another political affiliation.
Black Circles ringed with a purple circle represent black holes.
