They exist to seek out and experience love; beauty, enlightenment; and spiritual, physical, and emotional  exaltation. They use their shells  to experience new wonders in their pursuits. They believe that with the perfection of the body and mind, perfection of the heart must follow. They are very willing to negotiate with most other creeds. Societies, however, need to prevent the dangers of reckless use of grails and should restrict their control to a qualified elite. 

They love the ideal of a worthy technocracy of rule; pleasure and excitement;  and human drama and moving artwork.  They feel building negotiated alliances is the best path to achieve their goal.

They hate dangerous use of grails; restrictions against experience; or rejection of personal desires.; uncompromising extremism, regardless of its supposed virtue.
